Lambert And Ziel Earn G-MAC All-Tournament Team As Softball Concludes 2025 Season
MIDLAND, MICH. – Northwood softball had two athletes named to the Great Midwest Softball All-Tournament team Monday (May 5). Gage Lambert and Ashley Ziel were Northwood's honorees.
Ashley Ziel went 5-15 from the plate with five runs batted in, three doubles, and a run scored. The first team honoree kept Northwood alive in the elimination game win against (8) Malone (April 30), going 2-4 with two doubles and two runs batted in.
Gage Lambert had her best stretch of the season in this year's tournament, going 6-15 with a triple, double, and two runs batted in. Her performance versus (3) Findlay in the second round of consolations helped Northwood advance to day three. She went 2-4 with a double and a run scored in the 4-2 win.

Northwood softball finished the season 28-20 overall with a 16-8 G-MAC record, earning three All-Conference honorees (Ashley Ziel, Delanie Gale, and Brynn Polega) and going 2-2 in this year's conference tournament.
