Eros Competes At USATF U20 Championships In Eugene

EUGENE, OR. – Northwood track & field rising thrower Luke Eros placed 16th at the USATF U20 Outdoor Championships Wednesday afternoon (June 12), posting a 51.08m toss on his first attempt in the discus competition. The U20 Championships were held at Hayward Field in Eugene on the campus of the University of Oregon. Mississippi State's Roury McCloyen won with a mark of 60.28m.

He earned a spot at the Championships in his final competition of the outdoor season. Eros posted a USATF U20 qualifying standard for the discus throw with a 51.80m toss at the GVSU Last Chance Meet (May 11). His PR was 3.79m further than his previous best and is currently fourth in NU history.
