Luke Eros Takes Home Field Athlete Of The Week From The G-MAC

G-MAC ATHLETES OF THE WEEK

INDIANAPOLIS, IND. - Luke Eros of the Northwood men's track & field team earned Field Athlete of the Week from the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Monday (February 10). It's his first career Athlete of the Week honor and the first honor for a track & field athlete this season.

Eros moved ever so closely to the 20-meter mark in the weight throw. Over the weekend, he placed second at Grand Valley St.'s Mike Lints Alumni Open (February 8) with a 19.82m toss, a new PR. This PR gave him the seventh-best mark in DII this season, improving his NCAA provisional mark and the fourth-best mark in Northwood program history.

Northwood men's and women's track & field teams head to Grand Valley St.'s exclusive Big Meet on Friday (February 14).
