GAME STORY
- Northwood started the game strong, scoring the first seven points of the game.
- Ferris State responded with big finish the opening quarter, out-scoring Northwood 22-5 the rest of the quarter to take a 22-12 lead after one.
- The Bulldogs pushed their lead to 15 (27-12) early in the second before Northwood fought back. An 11-0 run got the Timberwolves back within four.
- FSU's offense got red-hot over the final five minutes of the half, scoring 20 points. That allowed the Bulldogs to go up 47-32 at the break.
- Ferris State maintained control in the third quarter, out-scoring Northwood by 10. That gave them a 65-40 lead heading to the fourth.
- NU got no closer than 22 in the final 10 minutes. The Bulldog's 30-point lead at the end of the game was their biggest of the night.
- The story of the game proved to be FSU's Mallory McCartney, who connected on eight 3-pointers on her way to 34 points.
