GAME STORY

  • Northwood started the game strong, scoring the first seven points of the game.
  • Ferris State responded with big finish the opening quarter, out-scoring Northwood 22-5 the rest of the quarter to take a 22-12 lead after one.
  • The Bulldogs pushed their lead to 15 (27-12) early in the second before Northwood fought back. An 11-0 run got the Timberwolves back within four.
  • FSU's offense got red-hot over the final five minutes of the half, scoring 20 points. That allowed the Bulldogs to go up 47-32 at the break.
  • Ferris State maintained control in the third quarter, out-scoring Northwood by 10. That gave them a 65-40 lead heading to the fourth.
