RECAP: Northwood Women's Basketball battles but falls to undefeated Ursuline 68-63 Saturday (December 2).
GAME STORY
- Northwood started the game solidly, leading 10-6 at the 5:38 mark.
- The Arrows finished the opening quarter strong, scoring 13 of the final 18 points to take a 22-17 lead after one.
- Ursuline kept the run going into the second, putting up the first six points of the quarter to take a 28-17 lead.
- The UU lead grew to as many as 14 before ending the half with an advantage of 37-29.
- Northwood came out fast in the third quarter, cutting the advantage to three at 37-34 1:23 in.
- The Ursuline lead stood at 44-40 when the Arrows made another run, scoring nine straight to make the score 53-40.
- The third quarter came to an end with Ursuline leading 53-42.
- NU chipped away at the lead in the final quarter, eventually getting the lead down to two at 65-63 with 15 second remaining.
- Ursuline made three of four from the foul line in the final seconds to close out the victory.
