Women's Basketball Earns 77-50 Win Over Davenport

RECAP: Northwood Women's Basketball earns a convincing 77-50 win over Davenport Wednesday night (December 6).
GAME STORY
- The early portion of the game was close, with the Panthers taking an 8-7 lead at the 5:52 mark of the opening quarter.
- That proved to be DU's lone lead of the contest, however. Northwood put up 14 of the next 19 points to go up 21-13. NU eventually led 22-15 after one quarter.
- The offenses struggled in the second, with the two teams combining for just 17 points (NU 10, DU 7). Northwood kept the lead above seven the entire second quarter, eventually taking a 32-22 lead at the break.
- Davenport started the third quarter strong, cutting the lead to 35-29 with under eight minutes remaining.
- Northwood dominated the remainder of the third to take control of the game. The Timberwolves out-scored Davenport 25-11 the rest of the quarter to take a 60-40 advantage heading to the fourth.
- The NU lead stayed above 22 the rest of the way. Northwood's biggest lead of the game was 29 (73-44).
