Women's Basketball Ranked Ninth In NCAA Midwest Region Poll
NCAA DIVISION II WOMEN'S BASKETBALL REGIONAL RANKINGS
MIDLAND, MICH. – The Northwood University women's basketball team stands ninth in the NCAA Midwest Regional rankings, which were announced Wednesday afternoon (February 28).
A total of eight teams in the region will make the tournament field. Eight teams will reach the NCAA Regional Tournament, which will take place March 15-18. The official bracket will be announced Sunday, March 10.
Northwood has won seven straight and 10 off 11 games to stand at 18-7 overall, 14-4 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference. The Timberwolves will begin the final week of the season with a game against Ursuline Thursday (February 29). Game time is set for 6 p.m.
