GAME STORY

Northwood scored the first four points of the game for the early advantage.
That four-point margin proved to match the largest lead of the first half.
NU led 12-8 at the 5:45 mark of the quarter, only to see the Chargers score four straight to tie the score.
The Timberwolves led 20-19 after one.
The second quarter was tight throughout, as it was a one-possession game the entire quarter.
Hillsdale held a 36-35 lead at the break after the opening 20 minutes featured eight ties and 13 lead changes.
Northwood started the third quarter strong, putting up 14 of the first 17 points to take a 49-39 lead at the 5:49 mark.
Hillsdale cut the lead down to three before the Timberwolves held a 61-54 lead heading to the final quarter.
The Timberwolves opened up their biggest lead of the game at 72-59 with less than six minutes remaining when the Chargers made a huge push. In just 1:47, Hillsdale scored 13 straight points to tie the score 72-72 with 4:06 remaining.
After Hillsdale made a triple to go up 80-77, freshman Maelyn McNealy hit a 3-pointer of her own to tie the score with 57 seconds remaining.
The Chargers scored five straight points to go up 85-80.
With HC leading 86-83 in the final seconds, Northwood's Maddie Voelker got off a 3-point attempt from beyond half court to tie the game. The shot drew iron but did not fall, giving Hillsdale the win.
