Women's Basketball Defeats Tiffin 75-57

RECAP: Northwood women's basketball controls middle two quarters in 75-57 win over Tiffin Thursday night (January 30).
GAME STORY
- After scoring just four points in the first quarter against Northwood in the first meeting of the season a few weeks ago, Tiffin came out hot to start the game. The Dragons scored the first five points of the game before going up 13-5 just over five minutes into the contest.
- Northwood chipped away at the lead the remainder of the quarter, which ended with Tiffin leading 21-16.
- The Timberwolves played better at the start of the second, scoring seven of the first nine points of the quarter to tie the score 23-23.
- NU, which led by as many as six down the stretch in the second, outscored the Dragons 19-10 in the quarter. That gave Northwood a 35-31 lead at halftime.
- The Timberwolves led 46-40 late in the third when the Timberwolves took control. Northwood out-scored Tiffin 12-1 over the final 3:07 to take a 58-41 lead to the final quarter.
- TU got no closer than 13 the rest of the way. NU led by as many as 22 before winning by 18.
