Sydni Harding Named WGCA All-America Scholar

MIDLAND, MICH. – Sydni Harding from the Northwood University women's golf team has been named an All-American Scholar by Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA).

A total of a total of 1,401 women's collegiate golfers recognized with this prestigious honor.  The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team are some of the most stringent in all of college athletics. The minimum cumulative GPA is 3.50.

This marks the second consecutive year Harding has earned the honor. The junior averaged 78.3 per round this season, narrowly edging out Northwood Hall of Famer Jamie Long (78.4)  for the best in school history. Harding had two top-10 results in five events and earned Second Team All-GLIAC honors this season. Her low round of the year was a 72, which she shot at the Music City Invitational October 15. A year ago, Harding became the second player in program history to qualify for the NCAA National Championship after placing third overall at the NCAA East Regional Championship. Harding went on to place 55th at the National Championship.

Harding is an Operations & Supply Chain Management major with a 3.656 GPA.
