RECAP: Women's soccer finished off their regular season slate Saturday (October 28) as they took on Tiffin Dragons in northwest Ohio. The Timberwolves left victorious, 4-1, marking win No. 13 for the season. This mark matches the most wins in program history (1999).

GAME HIGHLIGHTS

  • Just 20 minutes in NU's offense got itself moving fast, their nine shots paced the game, including seven shots on target. These shots, although would be turned away as the Dragons would hold on to the 0-0 tie.
  • The Timberwolves would score first from Carly Boyd's fifth goal this season in the 27'.
  • A Dragon's penalty kick gave them the equalizer in the 30'.
  • Out of the break, the Timberwolves offense got hot quickly as a Dragon foul led to a Katie Foster free kick. Her cross into the box was scored by Juliana Paoletti for her team-leading eighth goal.
  • Northwood would stop after taking the lead, Brooke Honeycutt pushed the lead to two with her fifth goal of the season. Her score put NU up two in the 51'.
