Jatczak And Paoletti Highlight Women's Soccer In DII CCA All-Region Honorees

D2CCA All-Midwest Region Teams

MIDLAND, MICH. – Two student-athletes from the Northwood women's soccer team earned First Team All-Region honors from the DII Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA).

All-Region teams were announced Tuesday (November 28). These teams are selected by communication professionals from across the NCAA Division II Midwest Region. A region made up of member schools from the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC), the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC), and the Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC).

Seniors Juliana Paoletti and Hannah Jatczak were the Timberwolves among the D2CCA All-Region First Team honorees. The two become the first Timberwolves ever to earn All-Region accolades.

Paoletti led the team in goals (10) and points (22) this season. Within the conference, she was first in shots (70), second in goals, and second in points. She finished as a First Team All-G-MAC honoree, moving up to fourth in program history in points (87) and goals (38). The forward tied the record for matches played in a career (72) also held by current assistant coach Savannah Wallace.

Jatczak was also a First Team All-G-MAC Honoree as a defender. She led the Timberwolves to its lowest goals-against average in program history (.98), including the most shutouts (8). The defender tallied three goals and was 2-2 on penalty kicks this season. Jatczak finished her senior season compiling 60 straight starts over the previous three seasons.

Northwood finished their historic season 15-4-3 and 12-1-1 in the G-MAC, winning both the G-MAC regular season and tournament titles while also making their first NCAA tournament appearance.
