  • The top of the LSSU lineup was the key to the entire day, starting with doubles. The Lakers picked up wins at the No. 1 and No. 2 doubles matches to lead 1-0 heading into singles.
  • Singles proved to be close, as three of the top four matches went the full three sets.
  • Northwood took the 4-6 singles matches, but the Lakers came through with wins at the top three flights to earn the close victory.
