Women's Tennis Listed Under Consideration In Initial NCAA Regional Rankings

MIDLAND, MICH. - The Northwood women's tennis team (12-4, 6-1 G-MAC) was listed as one of the nine teams under consideration for the 2024 NCAA DII Women's Tennis Tournament in the NCAA's first set of Midwest Regional Rankings released Wednesday (April 17).
These first rankings are published in alphabetical order to show teams that are under consideration and most likely to be in the official rankings on April 24.
Other teams under consideration include conference members No. 24 Tiffin and No. 50 Findlay. Three other teams were on the Timberwolves schedule this season, Ferris State, Lewis, and Grand Valley State. The list is rounded out with UIndy, Wayne State, and Drury.
Women's tennis ends the regular season this weekend as they hit the road to Ohio to square off with Walsh (April 20) and Ursuline (April 21).
48 teams will qualify for this year's NCAA Tournament, with the top seven teams from the Midwest Region earning a berth. Postseason action of the NCAA tournament will begin on May 10-11 with the first and second rounds.
