Maya Ferland Named Honorable Mention All-GLIAC
MIDLAND, MICH. – Maya Ferland, a junior middle blocker on the Northwood University volleyball team, was named Honorable Mention All-GLIAC.
The announcement came in conjunction with the GLIAC Tournament semifinals Saturday afternoon (November 20).
Ferland was the most efficient offensive player in the GLIAC this season, ending the year leading the conference in attack percentage at .326. She also ranked 19th in the conference in kills per set (2.44), which was also good for second on the team. Ferland ended the year with a team-best 44 blocks as well as 0.71 blocks per set.
Northwood finished the season 11-15, reaching the GLIAC Tournament for the second consecutive year.
