Volleyball Earns 3-0 Win Over Cedarville

INSIDE THE MATCH
- Northwood set the tone for the entire day right away, scoring seven of the first nine points of the match. Cedarville got no closer than three points the rest of the set. NU won the set 25-14, with their 11-point edge at the end of the frame standing as their biggest of the first.
- The Timberwolves took the lead for good in the second set at 2-1. The advantage was 12-10 when NU posted a 7-2 run to go up 19-12. Cedarville did score five of six points down the stretch but were unable to get any closer than four. Northwood took the set 25-19 for a 2-0 advantage.
- Cedarville led the third set 13-12 when Northwood scored eight straight points to take a 20-13 lead. The Yellow Jackets responded with six of the next seven points to get within two at 21-19. But it was Northwood who finished with the final run of the match, putting up four of the final five points to take the third 25-20 and the match 3-0.
