Cross Country Competes at Hillsdale Invite

LOCATION: Hayden Park – Hillsdale, Mich.
RECAP: The Northwood University cross country teams competed at the Hillsdale Invite Saturday (October 7), battling through a weather delay and a wet course.
INSIDE THE MEET
- The Northwood men were led by freshman Andrew Wendler with a 12th place finish in 29:28.6.
- Freshman Stephen Barker finished right behind Wendler in 30:38.7 to be the No. 2 runner for the Timberwolves.
- Freshman Josiah Morse rounded out the top 3 finishers for the Timberwolves, crossing the line in 32:31.0.
- Sophomore Madi Brooks was the No. 1 finisher for the Northwood women, crossing the line in 22:16.8 seconds for a 14th place overall finish.
- The No. 2 runner for the Timberwolves for the second time this year was sophomore Morgan Bolinger, finishing the 5k course in 22:42.8.
- Freshman Katherine Wozniak was the third finisher for NU, coming through right behind Bolinger at 23:04.5.

- Northwood will travel to New Boston, Mich. for the Warrior Challenge Saturday (October 30), hosted by Wayne State University.
