With every drive through campus, Bill Fisher's impact on Northwood University and the athletic programs is obvious. Over the last twenty years, his support of Northwood athletics has produced numerous facilities including the Fisher Fields for intramurals, Fisher Trails for cross country, Fisher Track for the track and field program, and Bette Fisher Stadium for softball. In addition, his contributions allowed for the football press box elevator to be built in 2007. Beyond athletics, Bill and Bette have helped many students realize their educational dreams through an endowed scholarship fund they established in 2001. Bill and his wife Bette are longtime residents of Midland who have helped make Northwood University an integral part of the community.
