Bio

Amy Gruszynski finished her career as one of the most decorated players in the illustrious history of Northwood volleyball. A three-time All-American, she became the first player in program history to earn First Team All-GLIAC honors all four years of her career. She was also named the GLIAC Freshman of the Year in 1999 and the GLIAC Player of the Year in 2002. Gruszynski led Northwood to a pair GLIAC Championship, four trips to the NCAA Tournament and three appearances in the NCAA Regional finals. The Timberwolves went 111-28 (.799) during her career. Gruszynski ranks second in school history with 5,278 career assists as well as seventh in career attack percentage (.338). She was named team captain all four seasons and following her senior year the 3.74 gpa student earned a prestigious NCAA Post-Graduate Scholarship.
