Bio

David Lamky was one of the best and most consistent baseball players in Northwood history.  He batted at least .345 all four years of his career and ended with a .368 career batting average.  Lamky finished his career with 225 hits, which is still 30 more than any other player in school history.  He also stands as the all-time Northwood leader in doubles (51), runs batted in (140) and at-bats (611).  Lamky also ranks in the top six in school history in home runs (16), runs (131) and batting average. In all, Lamky’s name appears 24 times in the Northwood single season and career top-ten lists. He was named All-GLIAC all four years of his career, including First Team honors his final three seasons. Lamky also claimed First Team All-Region honors following his senior season and was a three-time Academic All-GLIAC honoree.
