Bio

Romana Moravkova was a key part of one of the most successful runs in Northwood volleyball.  Moravkova ended her career with 1,902 kills, which ranks her second in school history.  She trails only Pavla Melicharova in kills, who is the all-time leader in the history of NCAA Division II.  Moravkova also ranks among the career leaders at Northwood with 1,231 digs (fourth) and a .345 attack percentage (fifth). She claimed First Team All-America honors following the 1997 and the 1999 season, leading Northwood to the GLIAC Championship both times.  Moravkova also was named the GLIAC Player of the Year twice (1999, 2000) and First Team All-GLIAC three times (1997, 1998, 2000).  In the three seasons Moravkova stayed healthy, Northwood posted a combined record of 90-18, won two GLIAC titles and reached the NCAA Regional finals three times.
