Andrea Raby was one of the first and one of the best women’s basketball players in Northwood history. She finished her career as the leading rebounder in school history, finishing her four-year career with 800 rebounds. That record stood until the 2014-15 season. Raby also ranks 12th in school history with 1,083 points, making her one of just three players at Northwood to have 1,000 points and 700 rebounds. Thirty years after her career ended, Raby also still ranks in the top 10 in Northwood history in field goals made, field goals attempted, free throws made and free throws attempted. Raby averaged 14.2 points and 10.7 rebounds per game in the 1981-82 season, making her one of two players in school history to average a double-double in a season. Her 10.7 rebounding average that season is the highest in school history. Raby led Northwood in scoring in twice and rebounding three times in her career.
