Northwood Athletics Place Sixth In Inaugural Season In The G-MAC President's Cup

MIDLAND, Mich. – The Northwood University athletic department finished sixth in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) President's Cup Standings.

The Great Midwest Athletic Conference Presidents' Cup is awarded to the member institution that has the highest score for sports sponsored within the Great Midwest. Points shall be awarded based on winning percentage in regular season standings for those team sports with a conference schedule and standings. Points shall be awarded based on results of the championship meet for those sports without a regular season conference schedule.

Capped by the championship for the NU baseball team, Northwood finished the year with 123.5 points. Some of the Timberwolves' other top finishing teams include men's cross country (second) and women's soccer (third).

 Ashland was the overall winner at 170, narrowly beating out Findlay at 169. A total of 14 school compete in the G-MAC on a full-time basis.
