Kristin Cameron excelled for Northwood both as a thrower and as a student-athlete. She was a five-time All-American for the Timberwolves, earning the honor three times in the hammer throw during the outdoor season and twice in the weight throw indoors. Cameron was an All-GLIAC performer in all eight conference championships she competed in. An excellent student, Cameron was named Second Team CoSIDA Academic All-American in 2012 and earned Academic All-GLIAC honors six times. She still holds four school records at Northwood: weight throw (63 feet, 11 inches), indoor shot put (48 feet, 1 3/4 inches), hammer throw (194 feet 3/4 inch) and outdoor shot put (45 feet, 3 3/4 inches). Cameron also ranks fourth in school history in the discus (133 feet, 9 1/2 inches).
