Baseball Falls To Davenport 6-3 In GLIAC Tournament Opener

RECAP: No. 3 seed Northwood drops 6-3 contest to fourth-seeded Davenport in the opener of the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament Thursday night (May 9).
GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- After Davenport got on the board in the top of the first, Northwood responded with a run in the bottom of the inning. Nick Palmer plated David Vinsky on a groundout to make the score 1-1.
- The Panthers took the lead back with three in the third and one in the fourth to make the score 5-1.
- NU got one back in the bottom of the fourth on an RBI from Trevor Polewka on an error.
- Davenport plated a run in the sixth to make it 6-2.
- Northwood had a few chances late but their only run came on a wild pitch in the eighth inning that scored Palmer.
