Baseball Falls To Minnesota State 5-1

RECAP: Northwood baseball dropped a 5-1 contest to Minnesota State Sunday night (March 6).
GAME HIGHLIGHTS (NINE INNINGS)
- Minnesota State picked up an unearned run in the top of the first inning to go up 1-0.
- Northwood responded right away in the bottom of the first with an RBI single from Matt Magno that scored Myles Beale to make the score 1-1.
- The score remained 1-1 until the fifth inning when the Mavericks put together the key rally of the game, bringing home three runs to take a 4-1 lead.
- MSU then added one in the eighth to make the score 5-1, which proved to be the final score.
