RECAP: Northwood baseball drops pair of close games at Quincy Sunday afternoon (March 5), falling 10-8 in game one and 8-7 in game two.
GAME ONE HIGHLIGHTS (SEVEN INNINGS)
- The key portion of the game came right away, as Quincy plated seven runs in the bottom of the first inning for a big early advantage.
- Northwood bounced back in the top of the second, starting with an RBI single from David Jeffers.
- Jacob Rybicki got the Timberwolves back into the game later in the second with a three-run homer to make the score 7-4.
- Northwood got within two at 7-5 in the third on a sacrifice fly from Blake Salamon.
