• The key portion of the game came right away, as Quincy plated seven runs in the bottom of the first inning for a big early advantage.
• Northwood bounced back in the top of the second, starting with an RBI single from David Jeffers.
• Jacob Rybicki got the Timberwolves back into the game later in the second with a three-run homer to make the score 7-4.
