• Northwood got on the board first in the top of the second inning of game two on an RBI single by Cole.
• Ashland came back with a pair of runs in the bottom of the second  to take the lead.
• Joey Johnston tied the game for Northwood in the top of the third on a solo home run.
• NU then took the lead in the fourth on a RBI for Cole on a fielder's choice, making the score 3-2.
• The Eagles took the lead back in the bottom of the fifth on a two-run homer, going on top 4-3.
• Northwood leveled the score once again in the top of the seventh on a Matt Magno fielder's choice.
• The Timberwolves had chances in the eighth and the ninth to take the lead but were unable to plate the go ahead run.
• In the bottom of the ninth, the first two batters were retired before the Eagles strung together a pair of singles to get runners to first and third. A wild pitch then scored the winning run to give Ashland the victory.
