Baseball Loses Late Lead At Maryville 6-4

RECAP: Northwood baseball sees a late lead fall away in a 6-4 loss at Maryville Saturday (February 24).
GAME HIGHLIGHTS
- After a quiet start to the game for both teams, Northwood got on the board on an error in the fifth to make the score 1-0.
- Myles Beale followed with a two-run homer to give the Timberwolves a 3-0 lead.
- After Maryville got on the board in the sixth with a run, Northwood pushed their lead to 4-1 in the top of the seventh on a Josh Getz sacrifice fly.
- The Saints took over at that point, however, scoring three in the seventh to tie the game 4-4
- Maryville then connected on a pair of solo home runs in the bottom of the eighth to complete the comeback and earn the win.
