RECAP: Northwood baseball sweeps a pair at Findlay to take the weekend series, winning game one 7-2 before taking game two 3-2.

GAME ONE HIGHLIGHTS (SEVEN INNINGS)

• Northwood put up a pair of runs in the top of the first inning, starting with a Matt Magno RBI triple.
• Alex Cole followed with an RBI single to make the score 2-0 in the first.
• Findlay plated a run in the second and a run in the third to tie the score 2-2.
• The Timberwolves got a pair of RBI doubles in the sixth from Myles Beale and Josh Getz to go back on top 4-2.
• Northwood expanded their lead in the seventh on a Beale sacrifice fly, which was followed by a two-run double by Blake Salamon to make the score 7-2.
• That proved to be the final run of the game, giving the Timberwolves the win.

• Northwood started the scoring in the top of the second on an RBI double from Getz.
• Findlay tied the score with a run in the bottom of the third to make the score 1-1.
• It remained 1-1 until the bottom of the seventh when the Oilers got a sac fly to put Findlay on top 2-1.
• NU came through in the top of the eighth inning after the opening two batters were retired. The Timberwolves put together a pair of singles and a stolen base to have runners on second and third. Magno provided the biggest hit of the day with a two-run single to get Northwood back on top 3-2.
• Jake Carroll held Findlay scoreless over the final three innings to earn her third win of the season.
