Bio

Jonathan Vance joined the Northwood University baseball coaching staff in the fall of 2022. Vance will serve as the Timberwolves primary pitching coach.

Just prior to joining the Northwood staff, Jonathan spent the summer as the pitching coach for the Royal Oak Leprechauns of the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League. He also worked with the Detroit Tigers and Cincinnati Reds organizations coaching in their Summer Youth Development Camps.

Jonathan is from Claremont, California and graduated from Claremont High School in 2014. Following his high school career as a pitcher and infielder at Claremont, Vance played at both East Los Angeles College and Valley City State University in North Dakota.

Following his collegiate career, Vance pitched three seasons in independent professional baseball. He spent time in the Frontier League, the American Association and in the Atlantic League.

Vance currently resides in Midland.
