Brandon Ross Named G-MAC Defensive Athlete of the Week

G-MAC ATHLETES OF THE WEEK

MIDLAND, MICH. – Junior defensive end Brandon Ross from the Northwood University football team has been named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Defensive Athlete of the Week.

This marks the third time this season Northwood has earned an Athlete of the Week, joining Stephen Douglas (Defense – September 18) and Jacob Barlage (Offense – September 25).

Ross finished the week with six tackles, two tackles for loss and a forced fumble in Northwood's 36-33 win over Findlay. His forced fumble came late in the fourth quarter that set the NU offense up for a chance to win the game.

Northwood will host Ashland Saturday (October 14). Game time is set for 1 p.m.
