FIRST HALF
- The Lakers got off to a hot start with an 18-7 lead just over six minutes into the game. The lead would stay at 11 before Northwood cut the lead to four halfway through the period with a 7-0 run to make the score 20-16.
- The final minutes of the first half proved to be key to the game. Grand Valley State posted a 14-1 run to go up 47-30 at the break.
- The Lakers hot shooting was a big part of the half, as GVSU shot 63.3 percent (19-30) from the floor and 50.0 percent from 3-point range (5-10).
- Northwood struggled from the floor, shooting 26.9 percent (7-26) and 22.2 percent from the 3-point range (2-9). The team did connect on 14-18 from the foul line.
SECOND HALF
