RECAP:  Northwood earns fifth straight win, defeating Grace Bible 88-65 win Wednesday night (January 24).

FIRST HALF

  • Northwood grabbed the early advantage with 22 of the first 30 points less than nine minutes in.
  • That edge would only continue to grow. Ending the half on a 23-10 run to lead 47-21 at the break.
  • Northwood shot a solid 51.4 percent on their attempts from the field (19-37), while Grace Bible finished at 25.9 percent (7-27). NU also connected on nine 3-point field goals.

SECOND HALF

  • Grace Bible played better in the second half, but got no closer than 21 points.
  • Northwood led by as many as 31 (84-53).
  • The Timberwolves shot even better in the second half, hitting 59.1 percent of their attempts (13-22) from the floor. The Tigers shot 48.4 percent (15-31), which included nine 3-pointers.
