FIRST HALF

The opening 14 minutes were tight – with the biggest lead for either team standing at four points.
Parkside led 26-24 with 6:11 remaining in the half when the Rangers made a push – UWP scored 13 of the final 17 points to take a 39-28 lead at the break.
Northwood finished the half at 40.7 percent (11-27) while going just 1-11 from 3-point range (9.1 percent). NU also committed nine turnovers in the opening 20 minutes
The Rangers shot it well, going 14-18 overall (50.0 percent) and 7-13 from 3-point range (53.8 percent).

SECOND HALF

Both teams made runs in the second half, starting with Northwood. The Timberwolves scored 13 of the first 20 points of the half to cut the lead down to 46-41.
Parkside responded, putting up 18 of the next 22 points take their biggest lead of the game at 64-45 with 10:20 remaining.
Northwood then scored 16 of the next 20 points to get within seven at 68-61, but that is as close as they would get.
The Timberwolves shot 47.4 percent from the floor in the second half (18-38), including 6-11 from 3-point range (54.5 percent).
Parkside continued to shoot well after the break, going 11-21 overall (52.4 percent) while making 45.5 percent from beyond the arc (5-11).
