Men's Basketball Loses To Michigan Tech 68-63

FIRST HALF
- The opening 16 minutes of the game were tightly played, with the largest lead for either team stranding at four points.
- Michigan Tech got up by as many as seven before eventually taking a 34-28 lead to the break.
- MTU finished the opening half at 50.0 percent overall (11-22) and while going 8-10 from the foul line (80.0 percent)
- NU was 12-30 overall (40.0 percent) and 4-9 from the foul line (44.4 percent).
- While Northwood made one more field goal than Michigan Tech in the half (12-11), the Huskies out-scored Northwood 12-0 from 3-point range – MTU was 4-8 compared to NU at 0-4.
SECOND HALF
- MTU led by nine on four separate occasions, but the Timberwolves stayed within striking distance.
- Northwood had three shots in the final minute of the game trailing 66-63 but were unable to convert on any of their opportunities.
- Michigan Tech then made a pair of free throws to close out the win.
- The Huskies continued to shoot it well in the second half, going 12-22 overall (54.5 percent) while making 7-8 from the foul line (87.5 percent).
- Northwood was better with its shooting in the second half, going 12-25 overall (48.0 percent), 4-10 from 3-point range (40.0 percent) and 7-8 from the foul line (87.5 percent).
