Men's Basketball Drops 91-68 Road Game At Findlay

RECAP: Men's Basketball drops a 91-68 contest at Findlay Thursday night (November 18).
FIRST HALF
- Findlay scored the first seven and 14 of the first 16 points of the game to set the tone early.
- Northwood got back within nine at 18-9, but the Oilers maintained control the rest of the half.
- Findlay led by as many as 27 on their way to a 48-23 lead at halftime.
- UF ended the opening half shooting 52.9 percent overall (18-34) while making four 3-pointers and going 8-11 from the foul line (72.7 percent)
- Northwood ended the half at 35.7 percent overall (10-28). NU was 2-10 from 3-point range (20.0 percent) and 1-4 from the foul line (25.0 percent).
- The Oilers taking advantage of Northwood turnovers was a big part of the half. NU had nine in the half, but Findlay nearly scored off every giveaway, finishing the half with a 16-2 edge in points off turnovers.
SECOND HALF
- Northwood played better in the second half, but got no closer than 19 after the break.
- The biggest lead of the second half was 33 points for the Oilers (60-27) on their way to a 91-68 win.
- Both teams had strong shooting halves in the second – Northwood went 19-33 from the floor overall (57.6 percent).
- Findlay went 15-25 from the floor in the half (60.0 percent).
