Men's Basketball Falls 91-85 At Indianapolis

FIRST HALF
- Northwood got off to a good start early in the game, scoring the first eight points of the contest.
- The Timberwolves led for nearly the entire half before the Greyhounds made a late push to go up 40-37.
- NU came back to eventually take a 47-46 lead at halftime.
- Both teams had strong halves shooting the ball – Northwood ended the opening 20 minutes going 20-36 from the floor (55.6 percent). NU was also 4-9 from 3-point range (44.4 percent) and 3-3 from the foul line.
- UINDY was 17-30 from the floor (56.7 percent) overall and 6-11 from beyond the 3-point line (60.0 perent).
SECOND HALF
- UINDY was the better team the opening 10 minutes of the second half, getting their lead to as many as eight at 71-63.
- NU responded with a 16-7 run to go back on top 79-78 with 4:41 remaining.
- The Greyhounds then went on the key run to earn the win, making an 11-2 push to take an 89-81 lead with 28 seconds remaining.
- Northwood got no closer than six the rest of the way.
- Both teams continued to shoot the ball well in the second half – NU ended the half at 60.0 percent (15-25) while going 3-7 from 3-point range (42.9 percent) and 5-6 from the foul line (83.3 percent).
- Indianapolis ended the half at 53.3 percent (16-30) overall, 50.0 percent from beyond the arc (4-8) and 69.2 percent from the foul line (69.2 percent).
