Men's Basketball Falls To Michigan Tech 98-75

RECAP: Shorthanded Northwood Men's Basketball drops a 98-75 contest to Michigan Tech Saturday afternoon (December 4).
FIRST HALF
- The score was tied 15-15 with just over 13 minutes remaining in the first half when the Huskies took control of the game.
- MTU scored 19 of the next 25 points to open up a 34-21 lead with 6:20 remaining.
- Michigan Tech got their lead to as many as 18 (49-31) before settling for a 51-35 advantage at the break.
- Northwood had a solid half shooting, ending at 48.1 percent overall (13-27) and 55.6 percent from 3-point range (5-9)
- Michigan Tech was red-hot from the start, making their first five shots before finishing the half at 65.6 percent overall (21-32). The Huskies also went 8-12 from beyond the arc.
SECOND HALF
- MTU put the game away at the start of the second half, scoring 19 points in the first 5:40 to get the lead to 70-44.
- The Huskies advantage stayed above 21 over the final 17:54 and grew to as many as 27.
- NU went 15-28 from the floor in the second half, good for 53.6 percent). Northwood also went 7-8 at the foul line.
- Michigan Tech continued their strong performance on offense, going 18-33 overall (54.5 percent) and 4-10 from 3-point range. Like Northwood, the Huskies went 7-8 at the free throw line in the second half.
