FIRST HALF

• Northwood led 8-7 early in the game, but the Lakers went on 11-0 run to go up 18-8 with 13:55 remaining the opening half.
• The Timberwolves got within six at one point before the Lakers pushed their advantage to 16 on two separate occasions.
• Grand Valley State eventually led 41-30 at the break.
• The Timberwolves ended the first half shooting 50.0 percent overall, making 14-28 overall. NU was 2-8 from 3-point range and 0-1 from the foul line.

• Northwood cut the lead to nine early in the second half, but that is as close as the Timberwolves would come the rest of the way.
• The Lakers pushed the lead to as many as 24 (70-46) before winning by 18.
