FIRST HALF

• The majority of the opening half was tightly contested – SVSU held a 21-19 lead with less than six minutes remaining in the opening 20 minutes.
• The Cardinals used an 8-0 run late to go up 33-21.
• Saginaw Valley State eventually led 38-27 at halftime.
• Northwood struggled with their shooting in the first half, going 7-33 overall (21.2 percent). The Timberwolves were 2-11 from the 3-point line but did make 11-13 from the foul line.
• SVSU ended the half at 54.8 percent overall, making 17-31 from the floor. The Cardinals were 2-8 from the 3-point line and 2-4 from the foul line.

SECOND HALF

• The Saginaw Valley lead was 46-36 with 14:59 remaining when the Cardinals went on a run to put the game away.
• SVSU scored 15 straight points to get the lead to 61-36 with under 10 minutes remaining.
• Northwood got no closer than 20 points the rest of the way.
