Men's Basketball Drops 68-57 Contest At Davenport

SCORE: Davenport Panthers 68, Northwood Timberwolves 57

FIRST HALF
- The opening half 14 minutes of the game were very close – the largest lead for either team was five points.
- A 12-4 run by the Panthers gave Davenport a 29-19 lead with less than three minutes remaining in the half.
- DU hit a 3-pointer on their final possession of the half to take a 32-21 lead at the break.
- Northwood was 9-30 from the floor in the first half, good for 30.0 percent. NU struggled from the perimeter, going 0-8 from 3-point range. The Timberwolves were 3-4 from the foul line.
- Davenport ended the half at 33.3 percent from the floor (10-30). The Panthers were 2-9 from the 3-point arc and 10-11 at the foul line.
SECOND HALF
- Northwood got off to a good start in the second half, scoring nine of the first 11 points to get within four at 34-30.
- NU did get within three at one point and the Davenport advantage stood at 52-47 with 8:10 remaining when the Panthers started the key run of the game.
- The Panthers registered 16 of the next 19 points to take a 68-50 with 2:35 remaining on their way to an 11 point win.
- Both teams scored 36 points in the second half and had similar shooting numbers from the floor. Davenport was 16-34 overall (47.1 percent). DU was 4-12 from 3-point range while not attempting a free throw.
- Northwood ended the second half at 46.4 percent from floor (13-28). The Timberwolves were 2-5 from the 3-point line and 8-10 on free throws.
