Men's Basketball Defeats Purdue Northwest 74-66

FIRST HALF
- Northwood scored the first two points of the game and never allowed the Pride to lead at any point in the contest.
- The score was tied 19-19 with under 10 minutes remaining when NU went on a 12-0 run to lead 31-19 with 5:34 remaining
- That 12-point lead was the biggest in the half for the Timberwolves, which ended with the score 33-24.
- Northwood ended the half at 56.0 percent, making 14-25 overall. NU was 2-6 from the 3-point line and 3-6 at the foul line.
- Purdue Northwest struggled from the floor in the opening 20 minutes, going 9-32. The Pride were just 1-12 from the 3-point line and 5-6 at the foul line.
SECOND HALF
- PNW started the second half well and cut the NU lead to 48-47 with nine minutes remaining.
- The key run for Northwood came with the Timberwolves leading 54-51. NU scored 13 of the next 15 points to take a 67-53 lead with 2:43 remaining.
- Purdue Northwest did cut the lead to six in the final seconds before Northwood closed out an eight-point win.
- The Timberwolves continued their strong shooting in the second half, making 14-24 overall (58.3 percent). NU was 1-4 from the 3-point line and 14-24 from beyond the arc.
- Purdue Northwest jumped up to 50.0 percent in the second half from the floor (16-32) in the final 20 minutes. PNW was 4-12 from the 3-point line and 6-7 from the foul line.
