RECAP: A strong start to the second half and a dominant defensive final 20 minutes gives Northwood men's basketball their first win of the season, a 59-38 victory over Trevecca Nazarene Thursday night (December 1).

• The opening 20 minutes were evenly played – both teams largest lead of the half was three points.
• Trevecca Nazarene led for 12:24 of the half, but it was Northwood that ended the first with a 31-29 advantage at the break.
• The first half featured 11 lead changes.
• The key stretch of the game occurred at the start of the second half, as Northwood opened the final 20 minutes on a 14-2 run to take a 45-31 lead.
• NU kept control of the game the rest of the way, pushing their lead to as many as 21. The Timberwolves matched that margin at the end of the game.
