GAME STORY

  • Trevecca started the game strong, opening up a 16-5 lead in the opening eight minutes of the game.
  • The lead grew to 16 at 25-9 with under six minutes remaining in the half.
  • A key stretch of the game came late in the first half, as a run for the Timberwolves cut into the Trojans lead. Over the final 3:23, Northwood out-scored Trevecca 10-2 to make the Trojan lead 31-25 at the break.
  • Northwood chipped away at the lead in the early portion of the second half, eventually taking the lead at 43-41. That marked NU's first lead since it was 2-0.
  • The Timberwolves then used a 10-0 run to go up 12 at 55-43 with under seven minutes remaining.
  • Trevecca responded immediately with a run of their own, putting up the next 12 points to level the score 55-51 with 3:14 remaining.
