GAME STORY

Northwood opened the game scoring four of the first five points of the contest.
Lake Erie responded with a 12-0 run to take a 13-4 lead with 12:59 remaining in the half.
The Timberwolves got back within six at 18-12 before the Storm made another push, going on a 10-2 run to get the lead up to 28-14 with 5:30 remaining.
Lake Erie led by as many as 17 before settling for a 39-24 lead at the break.
The Storm lead grew to 20 early in the second, but the Timberwolves did not go away.
Northwood chipped away at the lead, getting it down to 10 with less than seven minutes remaining at 57-47.
The Timberwolves had a chance to get the lead down to single digits, but the Storm responded with a final push to close out the win.
An 11-4 stretch for Lake Erie made the lead 68-51 with 2:30 remaining.
Northwood got no closer than 15 the rest of the way.
