GAME STORY

Saginaw Valley started the game fast, scoring 10 of the first 12 points of the game in the opening 2:35 of the contest.
SVSU's lead in the first half grew to as many as 11 before a late push by the Timberwolves cut into the advantage. Northwood got the lead done to four before the Cardinals held a 38-32 lead at the break.
Saginaw Valley scored the first nine points of the second half to get the lead up to 15 at 47-35.
