RECAP: Northwood Men's Basketball dropped a 94-67 contest to Purdue Northwest Saturday afternoon (November 25).

GAME STORY

• The start of the game was tightly contested. With Northwood leading 9-8, Purdue Northwest scored 12 of the next 15 points to open up a 20-12 lead with 12:28 remaining.
• With the PNW leading 20-14 with 12:03 remaining in the first half, both teams locked up on the defensive end. The score remained 20-14 for nearly four minutes – the next points were a pair of free throws at the 8:11 mark.
• Northwood cut the Pride lead down to 25-20 with 6:53 remaining in the first, but that is as close as they would get in the remainder of the half. Purdue Northwest got their lead all the way up to 18 at 38-20 before settling for a 49-33 lead at halftime.
• Northwood scored four of the first six of the second half, but the Pride took control of the contest at that point. PNW pushed their lead up to 63-40 4:23 into the second half.
• The Timberwolves got no closer than 19 the rest of the way. Purdue Northwest led by as many as 30.
