  • The opening minutes of the game featured both offenses starting fast – Lake Erie led 17-12 4:37 into the contest.
  • The Storm led 17-12 when Northwood went on a run. The Timberwolves scored 17 of the next 25 points to take a 29-25 lead with 8:21 remaining.
  • Northwood pushed their lead to seven three times the rest of the half before settling for a 47-45 lead at the break.
