Collin Albert Named Second Team All-Great Midwest
MIDLAND, MICH. – Sophomore guard Collin Albert from the Northwood University men's basketball team has earned Second Team All-Conference honors from the Great Midwest Athletic Conference, the league announced Thursday (March 7).
Albert turned in a remarkable first season as a Timberwolf, standing second in the conference in scoring at 20.2 points per game. He is just the second player at Northwood since 2005 to average more than 20 points per game. Albert also ranks second in the conference in free throw percentage (.845), seventh in 3-point field goal percentage (.373) and 10th in 3-point field goals per game (2.0). He led Northwood in scoring in 21 of 28 games this season.
Northwood went 7-21 overall this season while posting a 4-16 conference record.
